Community best practices

RNA's own guidance for its community, already taught in the Skool Classroom — brought here so it's easy to find without an account.

1
Guidance, not governance
This is community guidance — suggestions for participating well, not rules imposed from above.
2
Participation is always voluntary
Nobody is required to do anything here. Everything is opt-in.
3
No need to understand blockchain to participate
You don't need technical knowledge to use any of this.
4
Tokens have no cash value today
"Tokens have no public market, tokens have no cash value... treat testnet participation as educational, not financial."
5
Staking is support, not obligation
There's no pressure to stake. It's a way to show support if and when you choose to.
6
Review pool take rates before staking
Every pool can set its own fee. Check it before you stake, the same way you'd check any fee.
7
You're responsible for your own wallet security
Standard practice for anything wallet-based — nobody else can recover access for you.
8
Don't treat tokens as guaranteed income
Explicit warning against "treating tokens as guaranteed income, making assumptions based on speculation, relying on anyone claiming certainty about future outcomes."
9
Student-athletes: follow your institution's policies
A specific note for student-athletes to follow their institution's own rules, and not use institutional names or logos for compensation.
10
Avoiding hype, pressure, or misinformation
The standard this whole community is held to — the same one this website tries to hold itself to.
